This is an album released in 1984 by Simone, a representative singer of the second generation of Brazilian MPB (Música Popular Brasileira) active since the 1970s. Cesar Camargo Mariano participates in the album on keyboards and arrangements. The album features samba, bossa nova, batucada, and ballads composed by some of Brazil's most renowned composers, including Joao Bosco, Edu Lobo, Chico Buarque, Ivan Lins, Lo Borges, and Roberto Carlos/Erasmo Carlos. It presents an essential sound with extensive use of digital synthesizers. Highlights include A5, which sways mellowly with a relaxed percussion beat and transparent synth pads, and B4, which offers a tropical feeling reminiscent of Hawaiian music.
