The first solo album by Hisashi Mizutani, guitarist of the Japanese progressive rock band Cosmos Factory, was produced by Sutomu Yamash’ta and released in 1980. Mizutani's vocals are very folksy, but the backing track is excellent, with a lot of analog synthesizers such as Korg and Moog, and an ensemble of acoustic instruments to create meditative new age and krautrock style electronics.
