This is a 1977 solo album by UK keyboard player Adrian Wagner, who also contributed to Robert Calvert’s solo albums with Hawkwind. The album opens with an explosive, Big Bang-like track (A1), featuring piercing, solid synth tones and synth pads that expand like rays of light to engulf the entire sonic space, creating an intense, psychedelic electronic journey. Track B2 stands out with its wild tribal sound, driven by bouncing vibraphone melodies and primitive, polyrhythmic percussion that transitions into a sublime chill-out experience, evoking the weightlessness of outer space. This album is an audacious, grand-scale concept piece, and B5 is another must-listen, a richly groovy boogie-disco track featuring gritty male vocals and soulful female chorus.
A2: Waterbook
B2: Machu Pichu
