Akira Wada, one of Japan's most skilled guitarists and a member of the progressive fusion group Prism, released his first solo album in 1984. The album is a breezy summer fusion piece based on the theme of the Maldives in the Indian Ocean, and is backed by Prism's friends Ken Watanabe (b), Yoshikazu Matsuura (keys) and Toru Suzuki (dr). The electronic crossover A3 features synthesizer arpeggios and distorted guitar sounds. This is a pressing that is full of energy and sound pressure.
