Anagram Records (UK) 1985

sleeve : EX-(coat partially worn off, light color-fade.)

Alien Sex Fiend, a gothic punk band featuring Nick Fiend (vo) and Chris Fiend (key), from London's Batcave nightclub, released their first album "Who's been Sleeping in My Brain" in 1983, and this 12" single features a remix of 'Ignore The Machine' from it. The dark heavy dance beat is a mixture of decadence and chaos, the distorted guitars stirring up a swirling noise and the crazy sound of the A1 destroying the dance floor late at night is the best, but the B2 with the even dub remix is also good. This UK original edition has been given a facelift with stunning artwork. On the back of the sleeve, frontman Nick writes, in what appears to be a handwriting, "It was great to record a live album and video in Japan!". This is a reference to the live album "Liquid Head in Tokyo/Knightmare" released in 1985.
