American steelpan player Andy Narell co-produced this nice album with Kenneth Nash, a famous percussionist who has left many good new age works. This album is full of tropical atmosphere and colorful sounds, such as A3 with its lightly grooving Brazilian rhythms and transparent steel pan sound, and A4 with its wonderful contrast between various three-dimensional percussion and primitive Afro chants. This is one of Andy Narall's best steel pan fusion albums yet. The urban Balearic feel of A2/B3 is highly recommended.
