This album, released in 1988 by Mexican singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Arturo Meza, features works that express the ancient civilizations and history of Mexico. It includes contributions from Eblen Macari (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Jose Luis Almeida (drums, electronics), who were also involved in the Mexican new-age masterpiece Cartas De Navegacion, introduced in the guidebook Obscure Sound Revised Edition. Side A is an art rock piece with electronics reminiscent of Controlled Bleeding, along with vocal work that evokes Luis Alberto Spinetta. Side B showcases aciddy folk rock driven by guitar sounds. The album embodies a mystical, uniquely Mexican sensibility and presents an unparalleled creative world.
