This album was featured in the guidebook 'OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION.' Released in 1984, it is the only album by Bells of Kyoto, a one-off project formed by the rhythm section of Marche Comune, Australian pianist Peter Waters, and multi-instrumentalist Olie Marland, known for his collaborations with Jah Wobble. The album showcases a sharp crossover music style, blending an oriental taste common to Wobble's works of the same period with a new wave approach. The sound production is distinctly 1980s, characterized by transparency and delicacy, while also containing many experimental elements. Highly recommended. This is the original Swiss pressing.
