Swedish flautist Björn J:Son Lindh, known for his many contributions to Ralph Lundsten’s works, released this album in 1980. Compared with his earlier recordings, the progressive rock elements built around irregular time signatures are somewhat toned down here. Instead, the album unfolds with a bright, open feel throughout, ranging from four-beat, disco-like grooves to refreshing crossover sounds. The contrast between Lindh’s earthy flute playing and the spacious synthesizer textures works beautifully. A2 is especially floor-friendly — an emotional samba-fusion track where female chorus, flute and piano solos intertwine to great effect.
