This album was released in 1971 by American pianist Narada Burton Greene on his own label, as highlighted in the guidebook "OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION." Greene, known for his collaboration with percussionist Daoud Amin on the piece "Trees," explores a mountain-themed expression in a four-part suite spanning over 22 minutes on the A-side, accompanied by flute and cello played by Tom Moore. The composition appears largely improvised, captivating listeners with occasional earthy tones. On the B-side, Greene engages in free improvisation on the keyboard, with notable moments of prepared piano technique emerging in the middle section. Both sides showcase a variety of sounds and melodies generated from the keyboard with highly inventive and free-thinking approaches.
