The first album by Cabazz, a Swedish group consisting of Anders Forsberg (keys), Per Westerlund (g), Morgan Agren (dr), Jonas Kunutsson (as), Robert Torne (per) and Mikael Berglund (b), was released in 1987. The first album by Cabazz was released in 1987. The album is a lustrous and powerful crossover/fusion/jazz-rock album with a large use of synthesizers and electronic percussion. The sound production is quite flashy, but there are still some good songs. Take a listen to A3, where the soprano sax and guitar play in unison against the backdrop of solid sounding percussion and floating synth pads, and B2, where the Pat Metheny Group's influence on the scene is so strong that it has become a complete clone.
