This is a leader album by Carmell Jones, an American trumpeter whose debut album "The Remarkable Carmell Jones" with Harold Land in 1961 was considered a masterpiece, and who subsequently demonstrated his skills on sessions with Bud Shank, Horace Silver, Nathan Davis, and many other musicians. Quintet with Jimmy Heath (ts), Barry Harris (p), George Tucker (b), Roger Humphries (ds), and includes everything from 8-bit light soul jazz to gentle blues jazz. This is a US reissue US with an unknown release year. Probably pressed in the late 80s or early 90s.
