This is an album released in 1965 by the American saxophonist Charles Mcpherson, who collaborated with Charles Mingus, Barry Harris, Pepper Adams, among others, and also left behind numerous works as a leader starting from the 1960s. It features a quintet with Clifford Jordan (tenor saxophone), Barry Harris (piano), George Tucker (bass), and Alan Dawson (drums). Enjoy the lush and emotionally rich performances, with tracks like A2, which presents jazz standards with a moody and adult atmosphere, and the title track B1, which arranges Dizzy Gillespie's famous tune into another mood-filled rendition. Highly recommended.
A2: In a Sentimental Mood
B1: Con Alma
