American reed player Charlie Mariano has been at the forefront of the music scene since the 50's and has released various masterpieces sublimated of the folk music of India and other third world countries. The album features guest appearances by two guitarists, Philip Catherine and Michael Samson, as well as famous Dutch players such as Chris Hinze (ft), Jasper Van't Hof (p) and Rob van den Broeck (p), and John Lee(b), Gerry Brown(ds,per). This is an incredible album that surpasses Weather Report, from technical fusion to jazz grooves and atmospheric deep jazz with funkiness and psychedelics . The performances of all the members are incredible, but when Jasper Van't Hof's electric piano comes in, it gets even better.
