This is an album released in 1976 by the highly acclaimed American tenor saxophonist Chico Freeman, known for his numerous masterpieces spanning from avant-garde/free jazz to ethnic jazz and standards, and highly regarded even as rare grooves. The album was recorded in a studio in Chicago in the same year under the production of the elegant producer Yuuga Hiko, who is also the founder of the Whynot label, featuring a Japanese exclusive edition. AACM-affiliated artists such as Henry Threadgill, Muhal Richard Abrams, Cecil McBee, Steve McCall, Ben Montgomery, and Douglas Ewart participate on the recording. The organic ethno-jazz track B1, where various percussion instruments, flutes, and panpipes float through the sound space like living creatures, vividly expresses the world of morning prayers. This is a reissue from 1977.

B1: Morning Prayer
