Claire Hamill, an English folk singer who began her career in the early 70's and has left behind works with Cat Stevens and Carly Simon, released this album in 1986 on Coda, a label specializing in ambient/new age music. This is a self-performed work, produced by the artist herself from composing to production. A1 is a human voice ensemble with layers of transparent vocals and a sacred atmosphere. A3 is reminiscent of Art of Noise's classic "Moments of Life" with its clear sounds of programmed rhythms and digital synthesizers. This is a very beautiful album that creates a sacred soundscape.
