52 Rue Est (France) 1986
RE 006 (LP)
sleeve : EX-(SRW, light wear on corner.)
media : EX/EX(some slightly noises.)

This album, released in 1986, is by the French jazz-rock group Concept, led by guitarist Philippe Gaillot and bassist Philippe Gareil. In their 1982 masterpiece Avis de Passage, they showcased psychedelic jazz-rock reminiscent of Guru Guru. However, this work shifts towards a more electronic crossover jazz, with synthesizers and rhythm machines playing a major role. The album features tracks like the new wave-inspired A1, with its interesting combination of synth drums and vocals, and B3, a light fusion track where complex Latin rhythms programmed by a drum machine are complemented by bright horns and synthesizers, creating a tropical melody. Highly recommended.

A1: Full Moon
B3: Craquita bella
