Gabon Music (France) 1985

G.M. 1936 (LP)
sleeve : EX+(very slightly dirts on some parts, still good.)
media : NM-/NM-(some slightly surface noises, still fine.)

This album was released in 1985 by Cooperative Un Point Un Trait, a group led by Sec Bidens, a Congolese guitarist who was a member of the Gabonese band Orchestre Massako and has since participated in the works of many other artists. Gabon is a country bordering on the west of Congo, and is famous for its traditional Pygmy music, but it also shares a pop culture with Congo. This group is also developing a soukous with rumba congolese blood, but the style of the horn section is closer to Nigerian Afro-funk. The production is quite good and the mild electric sound is very pleasant.

A1: La Sirene
B2: Hebi
