This album was released in 1980 by Los Virtuosos, a group formed by Dominican singer-songwriter Cuco Valoy with his brother Martin Valoy and his son Ramon Orlando Valoy. The group plays mainly Cuban son, merengue and salsa, with adult and dramatic vocals by Henry Garcia, who has been a member of the group with Cuco and Ramon since the seventies.
