This 12" single was released in 1983 by Doctor's Cat, a project by Aldo Martinelli, Fabrizio Gatto, and Simona Zanini, Italian track makers who have written songs under a number of names including Cat Cang, Moon Ray, and Martinelli. Along with "Feel The Drive," which was released the same year, I was struck by this song when I heard it on a tape of a live mix at DJ Ron Hardy's Music Box in Chicago, and it brought back the insanity of my immersion in the magical world of Italo disco, with its jittery synthesizer sounds and aggressive machine beats. The instrumental version on the B-side is especially recommended.
