The first leader album by Eddie Henderson, an American trumpeter who joined Herbie Hancock's group in the early 70's and has performed with full of spirit on many historical masterpieces. It was recorded in the same studio at the same time as Hancok's masterpiece "Sextant", and the participating members are the same except for Lenny White III on drums. And the sound is exactly along the same lines, a spacey, electrified jazz funk colored with blackened Afro-spiritualism under the influence of Electric Miles throughout the album. Hancock's electric piano and Patrick Gleeson's synthesizer are extraordinary. A masterpiece among masterpieces. This is a Japanese pressing in 1973 that a sound quality is also excellent.
