Blown Away
Victor (Japan) 1986
VIJ-28072 (LP) w/obi, insert.
sleeve : NM
media : NM-/NM-(some very slightly surface noises, still fine condition.)

Elements, the unit of bassist Mark Egan and drummer Danny Gottlieb, the rhythm section behind the early Pat Metheny Group, produced this album for the windsurfing movie "Blown Away" and released it in 1987. As on previous albums, Cliford Carter (dr) and Bill Evans (ss,ts) participate on this album. A3 features groove-filled cutting guitar by guitarist Joe Caro, and B2 is a pleasant contrast between the high-edged sound of synth drums and the wet touch of synthesizers that play melancholic melodies. Every Elements album always has at least one good song.

A4: Reef Dance
B2: Swells
