Illumination Novus (US) 1988
3031-1-N (LP)
sleeve : EX+(IN SHRINK,SOC)
media : EX-/EX-(Slight dust noise/slight scratchy noise in some parts)

This is a masterpiece album released in 1988 by Elements, a project by bassist Mark Egan and drummer Danny Gottlieb, who were both members of the Pat Metheny Group at the same time. The album features Bill Evans (sax), Clifford Carter (keys), Steve Khan (g) and Stan Samole (g). A1 features a metallic percussion-like arpeggio synth and a bass that plays a lyrical melody, while B4 features soft synth pads and a soprano saxophone that paints a nostalgic landscape. A new age fusion work.

A1: Hymnalayas
B4: Sunken Cathedral
