This 1985 album is part of the world ethnic music journey series by the German psychedelic jazz-rock band Embryo. It features the Yoruba Dun Dun Orchester, led by Mauraina Oyelami, who also participated in the renowned work "Africa." The album includes locally recorded tracks that capture the earthy beats of Afro-percussion and chants, with the resonant sounds of acoustic guitar and vibraphone on track A2, and deep, earthy Afro-percussion on track B2, among other strongly grooving percussion tracks. Despite its authentic African music essence, the album is imbued with Embryo's unique psychedelic vibe, creating a dusty sound that seems to rise from the ground. Highly recommended. This is an original German pressing with a plain kraft jacket stamped with the band's logo.
