Carlyne Music (France) 1988

media : EX+/EX+(some slightly surface noises, still good.)

This is a trio album released in 1988 by three French and Italian jazz musicians: bassist Henri Texier, drummer Aldo Romano, and saxophonist Eric Barrot, who was also a member of Urban Sax, and whose works are featured in the guidebook OBSCURE SOUND. The album contains original compositions and one cover by each of the three musicians, and features Aldo Romano's drum solo on A3 and Henri Texier's lyrical wood bass on B4. This is a mature and austere album, with a cool tension and a deep spirituality. B2 is the cover of Duke Ellington's masterpiece is also superb. It is the endlessly spiritual sublimation.

A3: Another for H.T.
B2: In a Sentimental Mood
B4: Dire de drums
