The Everyman Band was formed in 1982 by David Torn, a guitarist who has worked with a wide range of artists beyond the boundaries of jazz, including Don Cherry, David Silvian and Bill Braford, along with Michael Suchorsky (d), Bruce Yaw (b) and Martin Fogel (s). This is a progressive jazz-rock album with Torn's driving guitar and breakneck development. The sound quality is also quite interesting, with a solid, forceful sound and subtle spatial processing.
