The only album released in 1979 by Fall Mountain, a project consisting of electronic musician Bob Ostertag whose 1991 album Sooner or Later was featured in the OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION guidebook,violinist Jim Katzin, and reed player Ned Rothenberg. Ostertag's electronics create a fine swirl of electronic sounds reminiscent of John Appleton, while the violin and soprano saxophone overlay improvisations throughout the album, creating a free music that transcends genres. A chaotic, yet organic crossover of sounds, highly recommended.
