Febian Reza Pane
Printemps a Arcueil
Alfa Records (Japan) 1987
ALR-28082 (LP) w/obi, insert.
sleeve : NM-
media : EX-/EX-(some light surface noises.)

This is the second in a series of collections of Erik Satie's works released by Alfa Records as part of the <Neo Chic Series> between 1986 and 1987. Febian Reza Pane, Toshihiro Nakanishi and Rie Akagi each perform one original piece inspired by Satie's music, in addition to nine classic Satie pieces arranged and performed by French pianist Febian Reza Pane. Pane's performance is the most Satie-like, or perhaps the closest to Satie's image. The liner notes include comments from Tetsuko Kuroyanagi and Tetsuya Chikushi, whose insights are particularly excellent.
