This 1973 album by Brazilian songstress Flora Purim, who made her mark on the American jazz and crossover scene alongside her husband Airto Moreira and Hermeto Pascoal, is a true classic. The album features an outstanding lineup including Joe Henderson (flute, tenor sax), Airto Moreira (percussion), Stanley Clarke (bass), George Duke (keyboards, synth), David Amaro (guitar), and Ernie Hood (zither). Highlights include the title track A2, composed by Nevill Potter, a tribute to Antonio Carlos Jobim on A3, and B2, a piece by Egberto Gismonti. Alongside compositions by the participating musicians, the album showcases a deep love for Brazilian music, brilliantly elevated into crossover territory through masterful performances throughout. This is the first Japanese pressing released in 1974.

A2: Butterfly Dreams
B2: Moon Dreams
