This is the 1987 album by the quintet led by Swiss pianist Francois Lindmann. The lineup includes Robert Morgenthaler (trombone), Patrick Lehmann (trumpet/french horn), Mathias Demoulin (bass), and Marc Erbetta (drums). The album features a moody A1, evoking a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of Argentine tango, an A2/B2 combination blending Afro-Cuban rhythms and coolness, and an extended version of A1 opening with Lindmann's emotionally charged piano solo in B3. The elegance unique to European contemporary jazz of that era is excellently showcased in this release.
A2: Sorcelry
B2: Les Boussoles S’Affolent
