This is an album released in 1971 by Gato Barbieri, an Argentine tenor saxophone player who made his debut in the 1960s and left many progressive Latin jazz works full of spirituality in the 1970s. The terrific lineup of Lonnie Liston Smith, Nana Vasconcelos, Lennie White, III, Joe Beck, and Ron Carter. This is one of the early masterpieces that showcased a spiritual jazz mix of melancholy and passion, with a Ten/Brazilian-tinged rhythm section and a hot and brooding tenor by Barbieri. Original US pressing.
