An album released in 1970 by Argentine tenor sax player Gato Barbieri, who debuted in the 60s and left behind many spiritually infused progressive Latin jazz works in the 70s. Featuring renowned musicians such as Charlie Haden (bass), Beaver Harris (drums), Richard Landrum (percussion), Roswell Rudd (trombone), and Lonnie L. Smith, Jr. (piano). The album opens with A1, marked by Haden's bass and Barbieri's vocals reminiscent of Don Cherry's classic "Brown Rice" track "Malkauns," followed by A2, which showcases Harris's impressive primitive drum solo. This masterpiece delivers avant-garde spiritual jazz with an emotional and ethnic ambiance. Every track is exceptional. This is a 1978 reissue of the original album released in Japan.
