After making a debut with a super-psychedelic 1st album in 1971, the German composer George Deuter, a pioneering figure in New Age music deeply influenced by Eastern philosophy to the extent of converting to Hinduism during repeated journeys to India, released his 3rd album in 1976. Constantly presenting meditative works, this album features a fusion of acoustic and electronic sounds, creating a peaceful and harmonious worldview backed by a return to nature and an orientation towards the East. Tracks like A2, where the sounds of acoustic guitar/sitar and bells shower down like sunlight, and B2, with echoing guitars that gently sway, invite the listener into a meditative state. A truly splendid piece of work. Original German pressing.
