This was featured in the first edition of the guide book "obscure sound". George Duke is an American keyboard player who has collaborated with many famous jazz musicians including Cannonball Adderley, Nat Adderley and Billy Cobham, and has also worked with Frank Zappa and George Clinton. The album was released in 1974 and features a wide range of works outstanding keyboard work and sense of groove have made him one of the most important musicians in the George Duke sound, including Airto and Flora Purim, Leon Ndugu Chancler and John Heard. The album features a smooth six-beat groove and falsetto vocals on track A2, and the spacy sounds of Minimoog on track 3. The title track, A4, is the best of the bunch, with its calm, controlled mellowness.
