This is the only solo album released in 1984 by Gina X, the singer of the Kraut New Wave band Gina X Performance, who produced some excellent albums under the direction of Zeus B. Held in the late 1970s and early 1980s. With the exception of A1, a cover of The Beatles, and A3, a cover of Serge Gainsburg, all of the songs on this album were written by Zeus B. Held. Gina X's lazy, punkish vocals are layered over hard-edged machine beats and trippy synthesizer sounds in almost every song. There are many tracks that link to the current leftfield dance music scene.
