Giuseppi Logan is an American saxophonist who has played with Pharoah Sanders and Archie Shepp, and also participated in The Cecil Taylor Unit and Patty Waters' "College Tour". This is the reissue for his second leader album that originally released in 1976. It was probably released in the early 80s. The quartet consists of pianist Don Pullen, bassist Eddie Gomez, and drummer Milford Graves. It's Afro-spiritual free jazz with chaotic layers of improvisation, including many moments of ethnic emotion. Watch out for Graves' primitive drumming.
