Formed in the late 1960's by Daevid Allen, Gong was one of the leading figures in the Summer of Love movement along with Pink Floyd, and after moving to France, the rock band left behind many masterpieces with their unique psychedelic view. In addition to The Orb, System 7, The Shamen, Graham Massey of 808 State, and other British artists, the album also features performances by EYE of Boredoms and Kane from Japan. The Orb, System 7, The Shamen, Graham Massey of 808 State, and from Japan, EYE and Ken Ishii of Boredoms. The rave groove of the time is fully reflected in this album, but EYE's remix is shockingly bad. The remix by Doof is also trippy and faithful to the original world view.
