This is an album released in 1971 by Gyorgy Ligeti, a Hungarian-Austrian composer known for numerous experimental contemporary music works and soundtracks for Stanley Kubrick films like "2001: A Space Odyssey" and "The Shining." The album includes a total of five tracks. A1, composed between 1969 and 1970, is an instrumental concerto for 13 performers, featuring a highly unique acoustic space. The strings produce continuous sounds reminiscent of electronic music. B3, created in 1958 at the electronic music studio of West German Radio with the assistance of Gottfried Michael Koenig and Cornelius Cardew, who was an assistant to Karlheinz Stockhausen, consists of various types of sounds in a collective state and can be heard as a wordless conversation in the form of electronic music.
