Jazz Haus Musik (Germany) 1987
JHM 30 (LP) w/release information sheet.
sleeve : EX-(SPSE: small peel-off on top edge, some slightly color-faded.)
media : EX+/EX+(some slightly noises.)
The only album released in 1987 by the obscure jazz-rock sextet Heinz, from the high-quality minor jazz label Jazz Haus Musik in Germany. This work unfolds a rather avant-garde jazz-rock sound, making ample use of synthesizers and computer programming. Abstract reggae beats intertwine with cutting-edge electric guitar, a collage of wet and trippy sound effects, and poetry readings, reminiscent of the world of the Stroer Duo from Germany, particularly on track B1, which also features a simple, Can-esque Zundoko beat and New Wave-like vocal work. Additionally, the solo tuba that emerges midway through, brimming with a sense of floating, on the mysterious B3 track, is highly recommended.
B1 : Orakel
B3 : Pataphysik
