This was introduced in the 1st. edition of the guidebook "obscure sound". This is an album by the German violinist Helmut Lipsky, released in 1986 from the Jazz Image series of the Canadian label Les Enterpises Radio-Canada. The album presents electric crossover jazz that absorbs various styles of jazz, rock, blues, and funk, with extensive use of electric violin and synthesizer. The cosmic and dramatic structure and development is like a more beautiful and fantastic version of the late Klaus Doldinger's Passport, with elements of progressive rock/jazz rock. In particular, the contrast between the female scat and the melancholic synthesizer in A2 is very nice.
