Henry Kaiser, an American guitarist and ethnomusicologist who has collaborated with Toshinori Kondo on a number of brilliant projects, and Fred Frith, a British guitarist and multi-instrumentalist who has worked on countless projects since the late 60s. The duo album was released in 1983 by these two improvisers. The album starts off with a bluesy guitar solo track, but then the duo's edgy guitars are layered over drum-machine-driven broken beats, creating an electronic free music experience unlike any other. Great stuff.
