A rare record is in stock. This is an album released in 1978 by the Claytone Ensemble, which consists mainly of Hisashi Kayama, who after giving up his career as a cellist due to an accident, worked on many broadcast and film scores as an ocarina player, and was joined by his pupil, the young Sojiro, and others. The ensemble performs mainly folk and old songs from around the world, including the Argentinean folk song "The Condor is Flying Away," the Israeli folk song "Caravan," and the Japanese folk song "Umako-uta. It is music that gives a sense of the warmth of the earth surrounded by very simple tones, and the A1 demonstration of 20 people blowing on clay pots is also interesting.
