A duo album released in 1987 by the German violinist/mandolinist Hajo Hoffmann and the German pianist Walerie Kuhl, who studied classical and jazz with Zbigniew Seifert and Stepahne Grappelli, and worked in the ethno-jazz field in the 80's with the project Viomando. A4/B4 is like a piano & violin version of Joan Bibiloni or Diethelm & Familari, with voice percussion and scatting. It's a simple composition of violin, mandolin, acoustic piano and both voices, but it's an excellent piece of acoustic new age music with a rich sense of colour and lyricism, with elements of jazz, Latin and bossa nova throughout. Lovely.
