This 1988 album is a collaboration between Cairo-based composer and tabla percussionist Hossam Ramzy—renowned in the belly dance world—and oud/violin player Essam Rashad. Featuring intense, percussive rhythms alongside the oud, violin, qanun, ney (Egyptian flute), and even synthesizers, this album creates a vivid auditory landscape where pyramids and camels seem to appear within the soundscape. It’s pure classical Egyptian dance music at 100% authenticity, with an exceptionally vibrant and dynamic sound quality.
