This is the 1st album released in 1984 by Ichiko Hashimoto, a member of Colored Music, who garnered worldwide attention with a major reappraisal. Presented as part of JVC's Music Interior series, which also featured works by Ono Seigen, Masahide Sakuma, and Yoshio Suzuki, this contemporary/ambient piece received acclaim. Side A features solo performances on acoustic piano, with tracks reminiscent of "Furniture Music," evoking Erik Satie. Side B includes ambient pieces layered with synthesizers and Hashimoto's beautiful vocals. The contrast between the avant-garde rock sound of Colored Music and Hashimoto's diverse musicality is evident. It's a remarkable piece that stands out from the recent domestic New Age/Ambient revival, with recording and mixing engineering by Ono Seigen.
