Difficult to Contribute Silence
Nabel (Germany) 1985

An album released in 1985 by the German experimental group Indiscreet, led by violinist Martin Sadebaum and guitarist/keyboardist Harald R. Rey. The album was released on the high-quality German jazz label Nabel. Backed by sparse, hard-edged drums and bass, the horns and guitar deliver avant-garde melodies in the abstract jazz of track A2, while delicate and clear arpeggio guitars dance spiritually in track A3. The album showcases a blend of experimental tendencies and a New Age sensibility, resulting in edgy avant-contemporary jazz. The title track A1, consisting solely of spoken words, is also outstanding. Highly recommended.

A2: The Machine
