An album released in 1992 featuring Mariana Ingold — a prolific artist whose work spans from traditional roots music to avant-garde contemporary, and who was also connected to legendary Uruguayan musician Eduardo Mateo. Also featured is drummer Osvaldo Fattoruso, the younger brother of Hugo Fattoruso, who showcased his skills in numerous sessions, and guitarist Leonardo Amuedo, who was a member of the American jazz-rock group Blood, Sweat & Tears and later played in Ivan Lins’ band during the 2000s. Released by Melopea Discos, a label run by Litto Nebbia. Many notable Uruguayan musicians participated in this album, including Fernando "Lobo" Núñez — known for his work with Ruben Rada and for his appearance on Urbano Moraes’ acclaimed album Vamos a Mirarnos Más de Frente. The album opens with a dazzling, high-speed fusion track (A1), and includes numerous songs that modernize the rhythms of candombe or reflect Ingold’s experimental inclinations. It’s a remarkable work full of the unique grooves of música uruguaya. It was never released on vinyl — the original format was cassette tape.
