This is the only leader album by James Mason, a keyboard player who played in Roy Ayers' group. The album features the young Narada Michael Walden, Justo Almario (whose crystalline new age fusion work "Forever Friends" was featured in "Obscure Sound" guidebook), Mustafa Ahmed who have played in many of Arthur Russell's works. The album has been highly acclaimed in the club jazz and rare groove scenes for more than 30 years, and has been reissued and released with previously unreleased tracks, but there is no doubt that it is a masterpiece whose brilliance has never faded. This is the official reissue from Soul Brothers in the UK, released in 1999.
