Jean-Luc Ponty has been active in the French jazz scene since the 1960s and has continued to produce works in various styles using the electric violin since his major activities in the mid-1970s. This album was released in 1976, and Patrice Rushen contributes vocals and piano/synthesizer. Ponty's soulful violin over the bright backing piano gives a Balearic slow bossa jazz A2, an electric jazz funk A3, and a melodic electric piano B2, all of which push the glossy crossover sound to the fore.
A2 : Renaissance
B2: Lost Forest
