Jean-Luc Ponty has been active in the French jazz scene since the 1960s and has continued to produce works in a variety of styles using the electric violin since his major activities in the mid-1970s. The album was recorded with George Duke, Allan Holdsworth, Randy Jackson, and Rayford Griffin and released in 1983. Ponty plays not only electric violin, but also synthesizers, organ, and keyboard bass, and his electronic fusion is exhilarating and shimmering, soaring into the sky.
